On behalf of the 2010 Ivy Educational and Charitable Foundation of Houston, Inc., Board of Directors and over 600 members, I am honored and privileged to welcome you to our web site.

For 29 years, Ivy Educational and Charitable Foundation of Houston, Inc. has stood united in the advancement of our purpose to raise funds for the charitable, educational and scientific projects, and financially assist high school and college scholars reach their career goals.

Our members have been committed to the spirit of community giving with the heartfelt belief that “To whom much is given much is required”. The donation of many volunteer hours from an active membership, as well as the board, ensures the continuing success of this viable entity.

Since its inception, the IEACF has funded approximately $300,000 for scholarships and made contributions to community service organizations and projects including: Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Dress for Success, Houston Area Urban League, Hazel Hainsworth Young Library, National Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Texas Children’s Hospital, Blue-Triangle Multipurpose Center, Ensemble Theater, the Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO), American Red Cross, Travis Smiley Foundation, Bread of Life, Julia C. Hester House, and many others.

Not only do we have the unwavering support of our members, we also recognize and appreciate the generous contributions from corporate sponsors, community supporters, family and friends. They help us to help others.

The IEACF is a public, non- profit, that depends on philanthropic individuals and organizations for support. We are excited and energized about their extraordinary endeavors, superior service and prolific participation on behalf of the Ivy Educational and Charitable Foundation of Houston, Inc. Therefore, it is in the spirit of giving, that the IEACF invite those who share our vision, to join our team.
